Liturgical Colors Learning Mat

The Liturgical Colors Learning Mat supports the child in understanding the rhythm of the liturgical year through hands-on exploration. The four rectangles, each in a different liturgical color, provide a clear and structured space for arranging vestments on small stands.

During the presentation, the catechist lays out the mat, places the stands, and dresses them with chasubles in the appropriate colors following the sequence: feast – before the feast – after the feast – Pentecost.
This visual layout helps the child grasp how liturgical colors change and what they represent.

The mat can be used in Catechesis of the Good Shepherd environments, Montessori classrooms, or at home as a meaningful aid in developing liturgical awareness.
